How Feng Shui Poison Arrows Affect Your Home

In Feng Shui we call sharp or angular lines of energy poison arrows. The angular lines can be from the corners of walls, (one reason why new construction uses rounded corner bead,) tables, the roof line of a higher level home pointed in your home's direction.

Look around your house or office and notice how the roads relate to your building. Do you find your home or office at a T in the road? Do you have a satellite dish pointed at you or any walls or pointed furniture aimed at your desk, favorite chair or bed?

If you do you will want to make a change, what we call a remedy in Feng Shui. You might put a plant with rounded leaves at the corner of a wall to soften the effect of the poison arrow or you might move a piece of furniture out of the direct line of the poison arrow energy.

Poison arrows are also called the Killing Breath because from an energetic perspective the sharp corner destroys the good energy. All you need to do is block or diffuse the sharp energy of the poison arrow and you've restored a good arrow of energy.

Other Feng Shui remedies are mirrors to deflect or slow the energy, crystals in the windows to soften the affects of the higher pointed roofline or finding a way to slow the energy down by using wind chimes or a mobile.

Going back to the T in the road, this is probably the most difficult poison arrow to remedy. Usually the home or office at the T-junction in the road has a high turn over, meaning many families live in the home or the office has many tenants because the businesses fail.

The home or office at the T-junction has all the stop and go energy coming right at them. At night the beams of the car lights go right into the home or office, creating interfering energies directed right at your home or office.

The same is true for a home in the middle of a cul de sac, every car that turns into the cul de sac directs moving energy at the house in the center of the cul de sac, that energy is the poison arrow of disruptive energy.

Something else to keep in mind, other types of Killing Breath that can affect the flow of energy in your home would be the proximity of a nightclub, cemetery, prison or hospital to your home or office.

Take a look at your home inside and out and just see how it feels. Where are the places you avoid in your home or office?

Now look for those poison arrows and remedy what you can.
